Membership Categories

There are 6 classes of membership within the PAD: ​

• Resident/Fellow in Training

• Early Career 1

  • One year post residency/fellowship​

• Early Career 2

  • Two years post residency/fellowship​

• Early Career 3

  • Three years post residency/fellowship​

• Fellow

  • 4+ years post residency/fellowship​

• Life Member

Fellows must be Board eligible or Board-Certified Dermatologists or Dermatopathologists, having the degree of M.D. or D.O., meeting the criteria of the American Board of Dermatology, the American Board of Osteopathic Dermatology, or the American Board of Pathology. 

 

Discounted dues are available for early career physicians (ECPs) in their first three years of practice who meet PAD membership requirements.

 

Dues are complimentary to full-time Residents/Fellows who are active full-time in a dermatology residency or fellowship.​ 

 

Life Members must meet the criteria as a Fellow, have been Fellows of the Academy for at least 10 years and have attained the age of 70, retaining all the rights and privileges of Fellows.
