Public Health & Education Fund
The Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery (PAD) is dedicated to actively educating Pennsylvania’s youth about sun safety. In 2021, the PAD partnered with the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) to create the Sun Safety Educational Poster Contest in which Pennsylvania K-12 students show their artistic talents in depicting sun safety behavior.
Since 2018, the PAD has awarded six $5,000 grants to a Pennsylvania K-12 school to be used toward building a sun safety structure on their campus.
